CASMIR - MAGNIFICENT EXOTIC POEM FROM FAR EAST by CHOPARD

CASMIR - CHOPARD
CASMIR by CHOPARD - the moment you sense it, you are already in the exotic East, somewhere there, far away, in a world, saturated with so much scents, colors, impressions...
This time-machine masterpiece were created in 1991 by Michel Almairac and designer of this unique bottle belongs to Caroline Scheufele.

Commercial 1997

"Over handsome woody notes of deep amber, lingering musk, rich vanilla and fresh patchouli, comes Casmir - a floral bouquet of fragrant jasmine, sunny geranium and soothing lily of the valley. Heightened by fruity hints of tropical mango and coconut, the citrus of bergamot and the delicious sweetness of peach, this fragrance is at once strong and resolutely feminine."

The common impression for this perfume is - woody-sweet oriental fragrance.

Straight from the beginning, it opens very sweet, resins enriched and with touch of fruitiness, as if the top notes fade away too quickly and the perfume instantly shows its character.
The other notes - floral, fruity, are somehow not so much expressed, but they are more like exotic mixture, which is represented as veil - when the wind touches it, they are responding with magnificent voice of their notes.

TOP NOTES:

Fruity, Mango, Coconut, Bergamot, Peach

HEART NOTES:

Floral, Jasmine, Geranium, Lily of the valley

BASE NOTES:

Woody, Amber, Musk, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Patchouli

My tests shown me, that the wood notes are very intense:
   - wet Sandalwood (to me, this note smells like wet Sandalwood piece - dry-sweet tree)
   - Patchouli (very bitter note)

The intense woody notes, are not giving very big pole of "activity" to the Vanilla note, despite it's detectable.
The Peach gives softness and sweet fruitiness, delicious note.

This perfume managed to keep its character, despite all those years and the reformulations, which it may went through.
During the '90s, I remember CASMIR like very saturated perfume, leaving heavy clouds after the woman, who wears it.
It's definitely one of the significant perfumes of the '90s.

   PHOTOS OF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT

The product comes in paper box.
The bottle is made from thick colorless transparent bottle, in shape of UFO 😉 disk, with 6 concavities, shaped as ancient Indian palace arches.
The cap is plastic and shaped as oriental temple roof.

   CONCLUSIONS

This perfume is typical representative of the beginning of the '90s.
It makes around you some specific, magnificent, mystic aura. It's your secret veil, which is leaving traces of this hypnotic elixir.
Suitable for evening wear, day wear in cold seasons, too.
   Long lasting perfume.
TIP: Spray 2-3 times in the air and go through the cloud.

   I RECOMMEND IT!
